For DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipments, import customs clearance and duty payment are included. For DAP or CIF-to-port, you handle destination customs. We always state this clearly in the quote — zero ambiguity.

Our team pre-checks all documents before loading to prevent this. If a delay occurs due to our documentation error, we handle communication with customs, prepare additional docs, and cover resulting demurrage costs. We own the problem.

We strongly recommend cargo insurance for all shipments (we can arrange it). In the event of damage, we coordinate professional surveys, compile claim documentation, and advocate directly with the carrier or insurer on your behalf.
